The Advocate, Porn Panic or C. Brian Smith's Porn Mistake.

The Advocate has just posted an article on the porn industry. About how it is in a virtual tailspin with the advent of free porn sites and piracy. It also discusses how the major studios are pinching pennies to stay afloat. It is interesting reading but there are some glaring mistakes in this article that I just can not stay silent about. I have sent the publisher an email with links to different articles and blogs that discuss the major problem with this article and I hope they get a clue real soon. The email is below.

I Just read the article by C. Brian Smith on Porn Panic the article was decent but it was the inclusion of Damon Kruezer that I find it quite upsetting. I just don't understand why there are so many reporters who really do not have a clue. I have read many articles about the gay porn industry and none of the articles seem to do any fact checking on their sources. The one blatant error in this article is the use of Kruezer at night. Do an Internet search on the name Damon Kruezer and you will get an eyeful of useful information on this Internet Maggot.

This man has for the last 10 + years stalked and lied too and defrauded so many people that no one in the industry will even speak to him yet you use him as a resource? That is a shameless mistake on your part and it seriously takes away from the validity and the credibility of this article. You might want to go back to your other sources and ask them about this Damon Kruezer. Now if you did an article on him that would be some good reading.

There are plenty of people who you already spoke to for this article who would have some interesting things to tell you about him. Damon is someone that the industry will not even mention. While you are talking to dear old Damon you should ask him about his attendance at the Cybersocket awards or better yet any of the gay awards shows honoring the porn industry. He has never been to one of them. He is not an industry insider and never has been, he is an Internet pariah.

A myth busted

Now I don’t fault the gay porn industry for this because they are just going after a untapped market. You know as well as I do that Gay men fantasize about seducing straight men. It is just a part of our nature. But if any of you have ever succeeded in this endeavor you know that it is not all that it is cracked up to be. Yeah you get to suck some straight boy dick and maybe you get him to fuck you but then after it is all said and done you are still sitting there wishing he was gay.

So with this in mind I am sitting here writing this little post about the fraud that is being put out there by several online companies who claim that they have these straight boys going through special training to have and enjoy gay sex. Yes we all know who they are and we all know that it is bullshit but we watch it anyway because we think it is hot.

So that brings me to the subject of gay for pay. Now there are some guys who do perform in gay porn who are truly straight. And this is quite obvious by the lack of enthusiasm they show on film. We will not deal with them right now. But there are also the gay boys who also are "straight for pay" who perform in gay porn and hope that you believe that they are straight. The one thing pornography is about is fantasy and that really is all.

Why does anyone care who the porn star fucks when they are not in front of the camera? If it’s not you then it really should not matter. Look these men are doing what they want to do on camera and as far as I know no one is holding a gun to their heads making them do it. It really is all about making a dollar and that is it. They fuck for cash and you get the opportunity to watch it. Some of the guys show real enthusiasm and some don’t. As far back as I can remember in my many years of watching porn it was always a undercurrent that these boys were being seduced into gay sex. Thus fulfilling a fantasy that the porn watcher has always had.




Now we all know that the best sex you are going to have with a man is with someone who is out and proud. We seem to be less inhibited by the whole man on man thing. But as long as we in the gay community have this idea about seducing straight men there will always be porn based on this fantasy. So does that mean that "gay for pay" is here to stay? I think it is just like "straight for pay" is. So to all of those men who find it upsetting that there are straight men performing in gay porn there are just as many gay men pretending to be straight performing in gay porn.



Do you get it now? Porn is about fantasy or to be more blatant it is all about lies to fool you into thinking that these people are having real sex like you have in your own bedrooms at home. They just happen to be on a set with several people watching them with bright lights and a camera shoved up their ass and some guy off to the side telling them to "moan louder" and to "move that hand it is blocking the shot". Porn is a job just like selling shoes or working at a computer all day. There are good things about it and there are bad. Some people don’t like their jobs and some people do like their jobs and you can always tell the ones who do like their jobs.



In my opinion who really cares who the models are fucking off screen as long as the fucking that they do on screen is hot and gets you off. Because in the grand scheme of things that is really the point right? So let the boys fuck for our pleasure and leave their private lives alone unless it is some really scandalous gossip then you know we all need to talk about it.

NEWS FLASH: Harlow Cuadra claims that he is no longer gay. He claims this in a letter posted on the blog of a known Internet fraud. Can this be true or just a big hoax to get back at this blogger? Who knows but it appears that the blogger fell for it hook line and sinker. in related news it would appear that Joe kerkes has followed suit and asked for a truce with this same blogger. Who knows what is really going on.
I finally read the Rolling Stone and the OUT articles the other day and was to say the least not impressed by them. From where I sit there was not much new information in them and there were quite a few factual errors as well. It would seem that you all know what I am talking about. When I spoke to Michael Gross for the OUT article I stipulated that allot of what we talked about be off the record. Well now I wished I had not said that because most of it is out now anyway. I was just no reported in either article. There is so much more to this than what was reported and now the articles have just muddied up the waters again. For one the time line in the Rolling Stone article is truly lacking and inaccurate. There are dates that are wrong and several other factual errors.



It is quite obvious that someone who has a blatant disregard for the gay porn industry as a whole wrote that article. When you read it you can see that it leaves a bad taste in their mouth. As for the OUT article there were fewer factual errors and mistakes but it just did not go where it could have gone. Both articles could have set a new benchmark for reporting on the porn industry but neither did. I don’t know if it was fear or just laziness. But I just thought that they would be harder hitting pieces.



I don’t mean to say that they were not good articles, I guess what I am saying is that they just did not tell me anything that I did not already know. I guess I am just to deeply involved in all of this madness to be shocked by anything that is said about this case anymore. Some times I wish I had never heard of any of the parties involved but I guess it is to late for that now. So where do I think this is going now? Lets just hope that the trial gets going soon and the real info comes to light and we can all finally get to see what this all was really about. I know that some of you are wondering why I have done this blog post and to tell you the truth so am I. But the fact is this is my blog and I guess it is a place for me to post my feelings and I guess I just did.


And speaking of my feelings I just have to say that it sickens me to read the bullshit that horses ass Damon Kruezer is posting on other people’s blogs about the recent tragic death of Danny Roddick. How dare he think that this tragedy is something to crow about? No one cares who posted the story first Damon. A young man has died and he was loved by many and he had a family and friends. Did any of this occur to you? Does it matter that you and your lies hurt people? From what I have seen it apparently does not, which in my opinion would explain allot about how so many people feel about you.




Danny Roddick rest in peace and may you be free of the tortures of mortal life. God bless your soul.

Boybatter is all that. I will admit I have seen a few of their clips and the chemistry is out of this world between the models. I had friend come by and we watched the latest video Harlow and Troy. Brent Corrigan is not dead

As reported earlier Porn model Brent Corrigan has not died but he is in near critical condition due to a massive financial mishap. Hopes were high for him and his Lover and other business partner Lee Bergeron. After he fled from the clutches of the nefarious Cobra Studios and started his own company, His fan base was astounding and he wrote an engaging blog. But it was not meant to be. There were people who had negative intentions towards him and struck out to ruin him. When he was found he was cash less and clueless as to what happened. Witnesses said that there were several possible causes too his untimely demise. One was his age, which has never been publicly verified and it is said he was born in 1985 and others are adamant that he was born in 1986. No matter what you believe he was quite simply to young when he passed away from public view. While that was one several factors involved his early demise. Others attribute the cause to his early departure from Cobra video.
Because cobra wanted to suck the life out of him first and they continued grabbing at him for 2 years. There is the murder of his former video director Bryan Kocis which put Brent in a very negative light because of a public battle they had and many assumed that Brent was responsible for Bryan’s death. There is also the unsubstantiated rumor that he and his partner conspired to hire a hit man to dispose of Bryan. None of these rumors were ever proven but the strain was taking its toll on Brent. He went into hiding to try to deal with his feelings and his world turned upside down. He rallied back a few times but it was just too much and he just went away quietly. His video career had come to an almost complete stand still yet the demand was still high to see him. He had a brief resurgence in late 2006 but he was showing signs of financial weakness and had to be renamed due to it.
After a settlement between him and Cobra Video came about he was getting his health back. And his fans still wanted to see him in action. His latest come back plans were thwarted by one of his business partners who witnesses say sucked the last bit of life right out of him. Brent was the subject of much speculation when a blog item appeared that said he might do a scene with the fabulous Harlow stud wonderCuadra. It was to be a joint venture between BoyBatter and LSG Media. The public opinion was mixed but it favored the pairing of the two by 2 to one odds. The poll numbers were high but Lee Bergeron the other Partner was not going to let it happen. Brent was trying to make one last ditched effort to reap that last little bit of Life out but the odds were against him and it appeares he failed. After the mysterious failure he had nothing to do and just drifted away. We thought we lost him in April 20, 2007 but he rallied back ten days later but he was very weak and due to a massive financial hemorrhage was finally finished off. Grant Roy his lover is just beside himself after the sudden loss of Brent. The real question is who put the final nail in his coffin and took away the rising porn icon from his admiring public. Barebacking and Other Gay Issues

I was just checking out the other Blogs today and came across this one on Jason Curious’s blog and it was getting a little heated. I was going to post a comment there but it turned in to this long dissertation so I thought that I would just make it a post on my Blog. The subject was about the sudden upswing in bareback porn and its effect on the industry and the young gay men of today.With companies Like Hot Desert Knights, Eurocreme, Cobra Video and Treasure Island Media to name a few producing this product and their sales climbing because of it, will this be the new trend in gay porn?. There are a few things I Have to say to start this off when I first started looking at Gay Porn it was all bareback. The whole Aids crisis had not yet begun. The boys were young and hot and the sex was wild and uninhibited. But that started to change in the early 80’s when a few models started to get sick. Then more were getting sick and dying and I’m talking fast. Some people got sick and were dead in a few months. No one knew what it was but it was bad whatever it was. The gay community went into a literal panic. People were scared to touch each other or even drink from the same glass. There was a period that if you did not see someone for a couple of weeks you assumed they were dead. I’m not being over dramatic here I am just stating the truth as to what I experienced. So I made a conscience decision to learn as much about what was going on as possible. During this period I watched hundreds of young men die from this dreaded disease. It was hard and it was tragic. One week in 1988 I went to 10 different memorial services. And one was for 4 guys who were all friends who died in the same week. So I think I have a really good idea of the affects and the effects of AIDS. I knew a few Gay porn stars Jon King, Lance Chisolm, Ron Pearson and Mike Henson and they are all gone now and the all died from aids or was HIV Positive when they died. And they all preformed in bareback Porn the common denominator here. And now we are watching all these companies who are shooting bareback porn again.

The big question you should ask is what precautions are they taking to protect their models? Are they taking any at all? Is the draw to perform in bareback porn the lure of the money? And now we are having a few of the current gay porn performers coming out and saying that they have contracted the virus. This is a serious problem and one that should not be taken lightly. It was Hard at the time and It still is today as well. The recent amount of Bareback companies popping up has me a little worried to say the least. I mean Jason is correct when he says that the education system is lacking on the subject. He is also right when he says it is a personal choice. So the mission of the older generation of gay men is to help get the message across to the younger generation and to help them make an educated choice. There is one problem with that statement though and it is the previous generation: mine that took the biggest hit from AIDS and HIV and of the many hundreds of thousands of men and woman who have succumbed to the disease are not here to tell there stories.
That leaves a few of us to impart our knowledge of the effects of AIDS and HIV. I am all for personal choice and freedoms but you have to be educated on your choices. I will not say that I have never had unprotected sex because that would be a lie. But I am saying that when I did it was an educated choice. I read about how the virus is transmitted and I was there at the beginning of it.. I choose to not get fucked by just anyone but only by people who I had some faith and trust in and was in a relationship with. And if I did choose to have sex with someone who I was not to sure of a condom was used. There is still risk in having anal sex with a condom. The use of a condom is at best is only 65% safer than receptive anal sex without one. So you see there is still a 35% risk involved anyway. There is also a risk of contracting the virus through oral sex. It is much smaller but if you have any cuts in your mouth and you suck some one off there is a greater risk. The virus hides in body fluids semen, vaginal fluids, and the blood stream. It has been known to be present in saliva. If you are healthy the virus is harder to contract. But if you use drugs and or alcohol they lower you immune systems ability to fight off the virus and they lower your inhibitions to make a conscious decision about who with, how and where you have sex. They also affect whether you use appropriate protection. In truth the only way to remain sure that you will not contract the virus is to remain abstinent. But that is not a viable solution for most people. So you take the risk and go out and have sex anyway. Life is filled with a lot of choices and tough decisions and to use a condom is really not a hard one to make if you want to live a healthy long life. HIV is no longer the death sentence it once was but it is a life altering one nonetheless. I have some friends who have been positive for 20 plus years and are still healthy but they know that it could change at any moment. Some have had serious setbacks and were literally swirling around the drain so to speak and the meds kicked in. So you can make an educated choice to not use a condom but you must be well aware of the possible ramifications of your decision. This is where the education system has failed us. They just say unprotected sex = death, not that you can live with HIV. What they should show the young people of today is how it will affect them and what is required to try to stay healthy once you have contracted the virus. This subject is not cut and dry by any stretch of the imagination but it is something we must deal with in an informed manner. Sorry this was so long but it's a really important subject. As for the porn industry they should not be looked upon for their stand for or against bare backing because to them it is really all about your dollars. Bare backing in gay porn was the norm until a few studios took a stand against it and they did this because the models were all dying. As I mentioned before I knew quite a few of the models from the late 80’ early 90’s and most of them are dead now. It is really a sad commentary to see that we have come full circle with a new generation of young men who really have no older generation to look up to and to help guide them through the tough period called youth. I was one of the lucky ones to survive the pandemic and I will try to impart my knowledge on the next generation. I was also lucky enough to have the experience of learning the ropes on how to deal in the New World of being gay from the experienced men who came before me. And a New World it was, filled with the excitement of new encounters with new men and sex. The gay community was a community then and it still is but society has changed in such a way that we are now not confined to the gay ghettos. Gay people live their lives out and proud anywhere they want to now. There are still the risks of hate crimes but we are not isolated as we once were. This is where we have the big problem. We are not as centralized and we don’t have the programs that we once had because of the de-funding by the government of such projects. The current political atmosphere is fighting world terror and the rest of the country is under siege by the rightwing conservatives who are spouting phrases from the bible of our damnation and that AIDS is Gods will. We need to regroup as a community and start to provide more out reach programs for at risk gay youth. These kids are coming out much earlier and they are being raised by parents who may still love their gay child but are ill equipped to deal with the realities of the fact that there child is gay. I have many straight friends who have sons and daughters who are now at the age where they are becoming sexually active and the parents are freaked out. They want to believe that their children will be like they were and not have sex until they are much older say late teens early twenties but the facts are their kids are having sex as early as 12 in some cases and the parents are clueless. I have been available to these kids as a kind of a mentor, because most of their parents just can’t handle the facts that their baby’s grow up. The parents know what’s going on because the kids know if something serious comes up and they are scared to tell there parents they can tell me and we can all talk about it together with their parents. I have one friend who has a son who is 16 and we were in the garage working on putting in some shelving. I said to her "Did Costco have a sale Kleenex" and she said that her son has allergies and goes through a box a week. I looked at her and said, "since when does josh have allergies?" and her response was "since he turned 13". Needles to say I lost it and her response was "what’s so funny?" I looked at her and said "you really don’t have a clue do you?" and she was "about what?" I said "Josh doesn’t have allergies and it’s not his nose that’s running." She was like "well what is it then?" and I gave her a look of mock disgust and she finally got it. Then she said "eww I just cleaned his room and there were Kleenex everywhere". We had a good laugh and when Josh came home I told him about it and we both had a good laugh too. This is just an example of how naïve parents are about the sex lives of their children. So we really need to give the young gay community some guidance and help in navigating the waters of there new found sexuality. Brent Corrigan had a post on his Blog in the ask Brent section where he tells how he got involved in the whole bareback scene in porn and how he feels about it now. So I hope this does not sound to preachy but it is important to love yourself enough to care about yourself and make the right decisions to protect your health.

Corbin Fisher

I have many other things to talk about so I am going to do just that. Todays subject boys and girls is Corbin Fisher. You know the web site that claims they have straight boys having gay sex. Messiness part II ver 2.0

People lets focus here Brent has said that he has made mistakes. He has also stated that he owns 30% of a company and he has no say in the day to day operation of it. Lee Bergeron is the majority shareholder in this company. He should take just as much responsibility in this whole mess as Sean and Grant.
We know Sean broke a contract and stated that he was under aged when he filmed his first scenes for Cobra Video. If Sean would have produced his birth certificate Bryan with his previous history would have most likely lost everything or even gone to jail.
The age issue now is really a moot point. If he were 21 then the original scenes he filmed for Cobra would be back on the market. I think it is real easy to figure that one out. Here is a cashed link to Cobra to trust Lee. They know this now. They were to busy trying to take care of the other legal issues facing them. And get their membership site open to bring in some revenue. It is now open for business but there have been no up dates to the site other than Brent's blog and no new content added. This is one of the major points of contention between the partners. The other one is that they have not been paid for their work. It is rumored that Lee is shopping the material that was filmed and trying to get a DVD and distribution deal and not share the profits with his “partners”. Sean and Grant have tried to begin discussions with Lee but he is ignoring their requests. As for the webmaster Jeremy he is the only one at the company who is apparently getting paid. He is paid by Lee and reports directly to him as well. As far as Sean and Jeremy not communicating it is because Sean feels that Jeremy does not have the skills required to make the site fit his vision. and looking at the site I would agree. So I hope this answers the web-site questions.

Now to touch on the question of why Sean and Grant continue on with LSG Media. If they leave they get nothing for their work. That would be a big win for Lee. He could sale the video of Sean and not have to pay them. Grant and Sean’s only recourse would be to sue LSG Media a company that really has no assets other than Brent Corrigan. Lee could sale the videos that have been filmed so far and pay the Cobra Estate and pocket the rest. I am of the opinion that this is exactly what Lee wants. He wants Sean and Grant to walk away from LSG. After he makes his money he will dissolve LSG Media and move on to his next scam. He has done it before and the sad thing is that it is legal because Sean and Grant trusted him.

How does Harlow fit in the picture? All he wanted to do was work with Brent Corrigan to help bring a higher profile to his new company. Boybatter is just really starting out and to have one of the most notorious twink porn-stars in one of their videos would be a great boost for their site. So Sean recommends him to Bryan. Just a nice gesture to help him out. Harlow also uses Sean to get back in good with Falcon Studios. The only problem is that Bryan gets murdered and Harlow’s picture is on Bryan’s hard-drive. It was most likely one of the last pictures downloaded by Bryan. Sean spoke to Bryan the morning that he was killed and they could have talked about Harlow then.
As far as a time line of who spoke to or had contact with Bryan the day he was killed we know Sean spoke to him that morning and Lee spoke to him that afternoon and Cad had a instant message conversation with him that day as well. All these times have been listed Sean around 9:00am PST. Lee at 3:00 PST and Cad at 5:00 est. so if you take in to account time differences Lee spoke to Bryan at 6:00 est. he was the last person to talk to Bryan. He is also the one who said that Bryan was expecting a model. I do not know where the name Drake came from but I am assuming that is just a police trick. There never was an e-mail with Drakes picture attached. Cad said it himself that Bryan was very discrete with new models. So I highly doubt he would e-mail a picture out to someone.

Now we will get back to Harlow. Harlow says he was with a client on the night in question yet the police have not questioned him or tried to establish if his alibi is credible. They got a search warrant and searched his home and they still have not even spoken with Harlow or Joe. This fact is very troubling to me as well as Harlow having no apparent motive to want Bryan dead. They have their own company, which is doing well and they have money so I doubt they are “hit-men” as some have stated but I could be wrong, but not likely. So that just does not fit. Bryan probably did have a model coming over and I bet it was some drugged out ex Cobra boys who wanted some money. I still have questions about the missing Maesrati. It has not been mentioned again in this case. You find that car and you find the killer. I can see the news headline now “Tweaked Out Twink Kills Gay Porn Producer”. Just another sad example of the affects of “Tina” on the gay community.

As far as the settlement goes during the negotiations there was a gag order in place on both parties and all documentation was to be sealed. The fact that we know so much about it is due to the fact that LSG Media’s attorney was trying to get released from the case for their lack of payment to his law firm. The general public was not intended to see those legal documents. The final agreement is sealed to protect the parties involved in the civil matter. Mainly Bryan who stood to loose the most if the information in those documents became public knowledge. The fact that it was stipulated in those documents that Sean was to make a public statement that Bryan did no know he was under-aged is quite telling.

The police have questioned all involved with the exception of Harlow. Because the police do not have any solid evidence connecting Harlow to the crime, just a picture and a assumption that he was the model mentioned. So that is where I stand on this case if you have any questions or anything to add please feel free to do so.

Messiness

How do we describe all the happenings in the world today? Just looking at what’s going on with the Kocis case and the infighting at LSG Media makes me wonder? It appears the only ones profiting from this whole thing is our friend “the person of interest” and his company. How can that be you ask? Well let’s see, before Bryan Kocis was murdered had you heard of Boybatter much less Harlow Cuadra? No I think not. And if you had you were keeping it to yourself. These are some savvy opportunistic businessmen we are talking about here. They took what could seriously be considered something negative and turned it into a money making venture. The name Drake was nation wide news and so was the name Harlow Cuadra. And about the name Harlow can you believe that. I mean get real he looks the way he does and he was born with that name. It’s just so fitting. Ok so back to the subject, what does Boybatter do, they have Harlow the infamous person of interest meet the elusive Drake in a porn film made the weekend of the GAYvn’s in San Francsico. And they give Drake a last name, can you believe this it’s Mannendez.
I have to admit it’s all clever but it still rates high on my tacky scale. The web master at Boybatter is reading all the blogs that talk about our friend Harlow and he is posting site updates for the readers. I find that so considerate of him to keep us informed of all that is Harlow; thanks Mark. I must admit Harlow is attractive in a devious kind of way. He’s a cross between dangerous and sweet. A scary combination if you ask me it just spells trouble. Yes, he has all the right equipment to be your favorite sexual fantasy
And I bet that some of you are fantasizing about him right now. Which is what BoyBatter is banking on. I for one have visited the sight but only for information purposes. I have not actually seen any of their video material, just the incessant samples that they throw at you as bait. But I am all for people making a buck, but I can not condone doing it in a hurtful way. But as I said before Harlow is a dangerous beauty and he can suck you into his world of sexual intrigue. So to all those who have made the trip to Boybatter I will understand the fact that he made you weak.
Well I got a reply to this post from Mark@Boybatter who says that he does exist. So I am going to correct this post to reflect that. Mark I hope that you can understand my skepticism. There has been some questionable things happening with you guys as of late. Now I will make it Harlow Joe/Trent or JT and Mark. It does make sense that they would have an agent per say and would not answer the phone themselves. So you stay behind the curtain and help the boys get that cash.And now I just want to give a shout out to Mark ,Harlow and Joe/Trent from now on referred to as JT. Good luck guys.

It appears that Rod Majors finds himself in a rather awkward and interesting position. No we are not talking about sex this time. But he is in the position to possibly change his life to further the gay agenda. There is currently a small ground swell starting and it is only going to get bigger. I just have one question what is it with the whole porn industry this year. It seems to be just getting more and more attention this year. With all the special proclamations, the murders and the news coverage, it is getting to be just a bit much for me to handle. Fox news is lambasting the industry and right wing political pundits are using gay slurs. This is the 21st century I really wonder what the world is coming to. We as gay people are being used to further the hate agenda of the Republican Party. They have misrepresented our wishes for equal rights before and they are trying to do it again. This party is using fear tactics to control the mindset of the religious right. It appears that no one is willing to call them on it. This party has used the senseless deaths of the thousands of people who died in New York on September 11,2001 and the ones who have died in Iraq since then for their own personal gain. They have lied to us about weapons of mass destruction to attack Iraq. When we all know it’s the oil fields that they are really after, and they will not stop until they control them. And now they are looking towards Iran and saying that they pose a threat too us or is it really their current plans that are being threatened .The current Administration has set this country back 50 years with this mess that they have created. It appears that anytime we can shed some light on their lies we all should do just that.
